Data Gathering and Validation

Gather all relevant contractual documents as well as software usage data for review by our SAP experts (e.g. USMM/LAW Files, SAP User Table Exports, SNOTEs Exports, Cloud Portal Exports, etc.). Our experts will validate the completeness and accuracy of all data provided.

Contractual and Entitlement Analysis

Identify all the entitlement sources (Global Master Agreement, Order Forms, Addendums, Amendments, Appendixes, Cloud Agreements, GTC, DPA, etc.) in order to build a comprehensive Bill of Material of current SAP entitlements/subscriptions. Provide detailed overview of the terms and conditions, use rights, metrics & metric definitions, limited use, full use,  and historical discounts.

Indirect and Digital Access Analysis

Evaluate and plan migration strategies for transitioning your on-premise landscape to S/4HANA—whether on-premise or in the cloud.

License Transformation Advisory

Based on the client’s specific needs, evaluate alternative strategies to an immediate S/4HANA migration—such as extending the use of ECC or leveraging third-party support. Develop a tailored roadmap that ensures business continuity while minimizing incremental costs and aligning with long-term transformation goals.

Remediation & Optimization Advisory

Mitigate any existing compliance risks and optimize license consumption, software deployment, and usage. Provide a manual to be further used by the customer in implementing internal procedures to maintain the compliance state after the engagement is finalized.

SAM Tool Configuration

Set up the inventory, hardware discovery and software inventory to  accurately reflect entitlement, deployment, and compliance data in the SAM Tool.  Reflect tool’s limitations, missing information to ensure transparency and opportunity of complementing the results with manual analysis. Run regular compliance reviews to assess coverage, identify risks, and validate findings through manual analysis for completeness and accuracy.


Audit Support

Develop an audit defense plan to enable internal measurement and validation prior to the official audit. This ensures the accuracy of audit results and strengthens compliance posture. Provide continuous support throughout the audit process—from the initial audit notification to the final report—with the goal of minimizing potential noncompliance risks.

Negotiation Playbook
